Tarn

The river Tarn is a popular river to fish as it contains the largest

population of both carp and catfish in France.

With the carp ranging from 5 lb - to an incredible 50lbs , there is a great

range of sizes to target offering great sport and sometimes

very unpredictable results.

The tarn also offers the catfish fishing in France with the average

size now breaking the 100lb barrierand the current record standing

at 230lbs which was some 2m 30cm in length.

The river itself is kept very wild and natural but still has legal night

fishing on all stretches all year round offering large opportunity

leaving you spoilt for choice.

The Tarn also offers fairly comfortable fishing compared with the

other rivers in France due to it's normal flows causing no

problems what so ever.
